Who we are
Rapture Applications Corporation provides the Rapture Applications website, apps, and plugins. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our site, buy or activate software, contact us, or subscribe to our news. Contact support@raptureapplications.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we receive
We receive information you provide, such as your email address, purchase details, and the contents of support or project inquiries. Purchases generate transaction identifiers, product and version information, payment status, subscription status, and license or download records. Our payment providers collect the payment and billing information needed for checkout; our application servers do not receive your full payment-card number. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request details, device and browser information, and error logs.
Information in our apps
Live or Not stores your watchlist, preferences, and recent creator-status information on your Mac. Its optional Stream Deck companion reads local status information from the Mac app. Live checks and profile-image requests contact the relevant platforms or image hosts, which receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Paid access verification sends your license identifier to our service so we can check your subscription. We do not need your watchlist for that verification. Connected-platform credentials, where supported, are stored in macOS Keychain.
Clip Relay works with your connected camera and saves recordings to the destination you choose. Responsive Soundboard works with the audio files you select. Those local workflows do not require you to upload your recordings or sound library to Rapture. Information you deliberately send to support, and files you save through third-party or cloud-synced folders, are handled separately from those local workflows.
How we use information
We use information to deliver downloads and licenses, verify paid access, manage orders and subscriptions, provide support, respond to inquiries, protect our services, diagnose problems, understand website use, and meet accounting or legal obligations. If you sign up for product news, we also use your email address to send those messages. Buying a product does not automatically enroll you in the newsletter.
Cookies and website analytics
Our marketing pages use Google Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, and interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes online identifiers and browser or device information. Our configuration disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. Purchase credential pages use a separate layout without these marketing analytics scripts. Payment, administration, and other service providers may use cookies necessary for their features.
You can manage cookies in your browser, delete stored cookies, and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies can affect some features. Google explains its handling of information at policies.google.com/privacy. Where applicable law requires consent for optional tracking, consent is required before that tracking is used.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers for website hosting and infrastructure, payment processing and billing (including Stripe and Link), transactional email, analytics (Google), and optional newsletter delivery (Mailchimp). They receive information needed to provide their services and may also process information under their own privacy policies. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections. We do not sell your watchlist, recordings, or sound library. Following a link to a platform, marketplace, or other third-party service subjects that interaction to its own policies.
Retention, security, and international processing
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including support, active licenses, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record; deleting an app does not delete purchase records. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries; where required, applicable safeguards govern international transfers.
Your choices and rights
You can remove tracked creators and manage app permissions on your Mac, unsubscribe from marketing emails, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to a portable copy, restriction of processing, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local privacy authority. We may need to verify your request and retain records that we are legally required to keep. Local-only app data must be managed on your device.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement for purchases and service delivery, legitimate interests for proportionate support and security, legal obligations for required records, and consent where required for marketing or optional tracking.
Children and policy updates
Our services are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We may update this policy as our services change. The date on this page identifies the latest revision; material changes will receive additional notice where required.
