YOUR SOUNDS. YOUR TIMING.BUILT FOR MAC

Stream Deck plugin · Mac

Responsive Soundboard

Your timing matters. Your sound should keep up.

Less waiting between pressing a key and playing your sound. Responsive Soundboard prepares short clips ahead of time and buffers longer tracks as they play—all from your own folder.

Ready before you press

Short effects are loaded in advance. Longer tracks start from a prepared opening, without loading the entire file into memory.

Keep your own library

Choose a folder, including its subfolders, and assign a sound to each key. Your original files stay right where you put them.

Make each key work your way

Restart, pause and resume, toggle playback, layer sounds, or hold a key to loop. Set the volume for each sound.

Stay in control

Stop every sound with one key, or let one effect stop or temporarily mute the others. Animated keys make playback easy to follow.

Bring your own sounds: WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A, AAC, CAF and FLAC, where supported by macOS. Audio plays through your Mac’s selected output. Sound files are not included.

Designed for responsive playback. Audible timing depends on your Mac, audio device and files. Windows and Intel Macs are not supported in this release.

Responsive Soundboard · Setup

Your first sound, in four steps.

  1. Once the Marketplace release is available, install it and drag Play Local Sound onto a Stream Deck key.
  2. Click Choose Folder and select your sounds. Subfolders are included; your files stay where you put them.
  3. Pick a sound, choose what a press does, and set its volume. Wait for Ready, then press the key.
  4. Add Stop All Local Sounds to another key for a quick way to stop the soundboard.

Added files? Click Refresh. Edited the selected file? Click Reload Sound. Moving or renaming a file means selecting it again. Keep files on a connected local drive for reliable playback.

Audio uses your Mac’s selected output. For streaming or recording, include the plugin’s playback in your audio route and check a short recording first. Keys stop playing when they leave the active page. Stop and mute controls affect only this plugin’s sounds.

For updates, install over the existing version to retain your assigned sounds and settings.
