About these terms

These terms apply to the Rapture Applications website and software provided by Rapture Applications Corporation. Product-specific license terms, an order, or a separate written agreement may add to these terms. If they conflict, the more specific terms govern that product or transaction. The seller and payment provider identified at checkout may have separate purchase terms. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Using our software

Subject to your applicable purchase or trial terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the software for its intended purpose. Software is licensed, not sold. You retain ownership of your recordings, audio, and other content. Rapture and its licensors retain rights in the software, branding, and website materials. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

You must be legally able to enter the applicable purchase agreement. Keep license keys and private download links secure. Do not resell or publicly distribute our software or license keys without permission, bypass licensing controls, interfere with services, or use the products unlawfully. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; rights that law expressly allows are preserved.

Compatibility and third-party platforms

Review the current product page and system requirements before purchasing. Platform support varies by product and release. An integration described as planned is not a currently included feature. Third-party platforms, devices, operating systems, and marketplaces can change their features or availability independently of us. Their names identify compatibility or use cases and do not imply endorsement or affiliation. You remain responsible for complying with their applicable terms and for having permission to use content you record or play.

Live alerts and experimental features

Live or Not provides convenient status checks and notifications, not a guarantee that every stream or event will be detected. Notifications can be delayed or missed because of network conditions, device sleep, system permissions, platform changes, or other limitations. Your Mac must be running, awake, and connected as required by the feature. Experimental features can change. Alerts do not guarantee access to a stream, deal, giveaway, limited item, or other opportunity. Use an available trial to assess the app with your own setup.

Purchases, trials, and subscriptions

The price, currency, billing interval, taxes, and included features shown at checkout apply to your purchase. A subscription renews at the disclosed interval until canceled. A one-time purchase is not a subscription unless explicitly stated. Live or Not’s no-card trial does not automatically become a paid subscription; you must separately choose and purchase a plan. Paid access may require periodic online license verification.

Changes to recurring prices will be communicated before they take effect where required, with an opportunity to cancel. We will not treat these terms as permission to charge for an undisclosed plan or add-on. A trial does not promise permanent free access or future features.

Cancellation and refunds

For purchases sold through Link, use Link’s billing tools to manage or cancel the subscription and Link support for payment or refund requests. If you cannot find the relevant controls, contact support@raptureapplications.com for help. For marketplace purchases, use that marketplace’s cancellation and refund process. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the timing stated by the billing provider; it does not by itself refund past charges. The applicable checkout and product refund terms govern requests, subject to law. Nothing here limits a mandatory refund, withdrawal right, or other consumer remedy.

Updates, support, and availability

We may release updates, fixes, and compatibility changes. Future features, platforms, and release dates are not included promises unless expressly stated in your purchase terms. Keep a backup of important files and review updates before relying on them in critical work. We may suspend access for a material breach, fraud, or security issue, with notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve it where appropriate. Any discontinuation or material reduction of paid service remains subject to applicable purchase commitments and consumer law.

Warranties and responsibility

We aim to provide useful, reliable software. To the extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided as available, without additional implied warranties, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Rapture is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as missed opportunities or lost profits arising from use of the products. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory guarantees, fraud, or other mandatory obligations. Your non-waivable consumer rights remain intact.

Changes and resolving questions

We may revise these terms for future use as products or services change. Material changes affecting an existing paid agreement will receive notice and any consent required by law; an updated page does not retroactively change an agreed purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally possible. Please contact support@raptureapplications.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not require private arbitration, waive class-action rights, or prevent you from using courts or consumer-protection processes available under applicable law.
